The Ave beads of this rosary are made of 6 mm black labradorite, which is a semi-precious gemstone discovered in 1770 in Labrador, Canada. The beads have varying shades of gray, sometimes a bit iridescent. The Paters are flat metal twists, roughly 10mm x 20mm. They have a neat feel as you slide your thumb over them when you pray the Our Father. The spacer beads are 3mm gun metal gray metal.
The 1 inch center is a nickel silver depicting a profile of the Virgin Mary on the obverse with Jesus holding the cross on the reverse.
The 2 inch crucifix is also nickel silver and tapered toward the center.
The overall length of the rosary is 19 1/2 inches (49.5 cm).
