Sometimes, things are just gray. This rosary is made with 8mm gray agate beads. They vary in color from dark gray to nearly white with occasional brown tones, and some are banded (bands of color in the bead).
Gun metal gray beads are used for the spacers, and 4mm black diamond Swarovski crystal bicones are used as accents to set off the Pater beads.
I used a color image of the Divine Mercy for the centerpiece. The dark background color went really well with the beads, I thought. The crucifix has, shall we say, two layers. It is composed of a decorative crucifix placed on top of a slightly larger polished cross of the same shape.
When I designed this, I was thinking of something for a man. This could make a good Father's Day gift. I have been making a lot of very feminine looking rosaries for a while, and now it's time to give the men out there a greater selection.
The overall length of the rosary is 19 1/2 inches (49.5 cm).
